Default Blc. Blue Volcano "Volcano Queen"

This rare blue Cattleya which I got from Hawaii has adapted extremely well to the tropical
conditions prevailing in Phuket (very similar) and blooms 3-4 times per year!! A real
treasure and worth the high price paid and complicated ways of getting it to Thailand...
    ENJOY!

Very nice! I have Volcano Blue 'Datsun' blooming now with 6 flowers on one bud stalk. It has a bit darker blue on the lip and is not quite as frilly.

Can you send me some photograps of VOLCANO Blue "DATSUN", totally unknown to me?

Here's a picture of Volcano Blue 'Datsun.' It's in bloom right now, with little to no fragrance.

Many thanks Janet indeed! Similar, yes, but it seems the blooms of Datsun are smaller in comparison to Volcano Blue (mine measure about 4.5 inches in diameter and VERY, VERY FRAGRANT, wonderful, almost intoxicating!)

Mine are just unde 4 inches in diameter. Did yours open with almost white petals that then darkened to light blue? It's so interesting to see these two variations.
