I don't know if this qualifies for being included here. This is my Rnps Lena Rowold ( Vandopsis lissochiloides x Ren storei }, but being cared for by my brother and growing in his garden. This picture was taken about 2 years ago when the main plant was more than 8 ft tall. It has since added another foot to its height. The other plants around it are its keikis. NB the wire fence in the picture is 4 ft high.

Very nice red color there imparted by the Ren. storiei ..... gollee! Its just growing there leaning by the fence. It's a good thing nobody tries to break or cut off the top when no one is watching.

Renanopsis Lena Rowold is one of the best earlier renanthera hybrids but not often cultivated due to its large size. I have only seen it exhibited at the Penang show once early this year. Here is a pic of the flowers:

Although my eyes are looking at the vandas in the background. Very deep dark colors!
