    Default Dendrobium Out of Sync

Ok, well that's not really the name of it... but seeing as it is autumn here and this one should be flowering in spring....

    Cheers

    Tim-

I love the shape... do you know what species originally went into the hybridization here?

Matt-e: this is what the family tree looks like

    <[kingianum x {speciosum x (kingianum x fleckerii)}] x [kingianum x {tetragonum x (kingianum x speciosum)}]> x [{(kingianum x tetragonum) x (fleckerii x falcorostrum)} x (speciosum x fleckerii)]

But I don't know how to figure out parentage percentage... but those are pretty staple cold tolerant dendrobiums from Oz.

Kev: umm, ok, well I was walking around with a ruler going "how long is that in inches" and TOH happening upon me whilst I am in this deep thought process goes, "you know size don't matter"
    GRRRRR!!! ..

the flower is an inch and a half wide.

    Cheers

    and that unusual shape!
    wow, what an impression,
    thanks for sharing!

Timbo, um...well...ya know...you can always give the cardinal size without specifying units...
Besides, cardinals are noted for the protrusive peckers.

    That is, um...well...ya know...their beaks.
