    Default Brassavola nodosa

    I not-so-gradually moved this guy into full sun, 3/4s of the day. It got burned, but it put out 5 blooms on a single spike:


    There are also three other spikes on the way (you can only see two in this picture . . . well, you can just barely see the third. It's right below the tag.)

    This is one of my favorites. Doesn't look too burned to me, they can take a lot of light and just purple on the edges. Looks happy!

    Nice work Sue... so would the greater amount of sunlight have been the trigger for flowering or?

    I love this plant, great smell....

    looks like it's got plenty of room to spread out,
    i hope it's not too far out of the way
    for you to enjoy.
    it would be a nice addition to a
    relaxing evening out on the patio or deck.
    draping over the side of the pot,
    it's a good looking plant.
