If you are an active member in the community, you will notice a box at the top of every page on the site that has a link to a ballot. This is your chance to vote for the OrchidTalk Member of the Year for 2011. (If you do not see the box, this means you have not participated enough through posting yet or you have dismissed the notice. Feel free to PM me with any questions.)

Each active member of the site will get one vote. After you submit your vote, you can dismiss the notice requesting your vote by clicking the big X on the right side of the page. If you try to vote more than once, you will get an error message. Voting will continue today through December 31, 2011. The Winner of the OrchidTalk Member of the Year for 2011 will be announced on or very soon after Jan. 1, 2012.

Hi Tom,

There isn't a way to display a portion of the information. Displaying it would display all of the information, including the user id of the voter (because each member gets only one vote). That said, I can simply post the top four contenders so far. It appears to still be anyone's race but the top stats so far are:


Catttan 26.32%
Dorsetman 15.79%
kiwiorchids 15.79%
zainal abidin 13.16%
