Default Aerides quinquevulnera, 2 orchid plants

    Hi,

im not sure if those 2 plants would go down as a flava variety, as they change colors within a week, from a dirty yellow, greenish, white and finishing with pink.
regardless, i enjoyed both and especially the clone with ca. 80 buds on it.

    Cheers,

The color on these doesn't sweep me away though it isn't horrible either. But I love the flower shape! Such cool looking things.

The flower in your 2nd shot brought a panting dog to mind. (The white column is the nose, the sides of the lip wherein the flaps come up and fold over are the jowls, and the purpley part of the lip is the dog's big ol' tongue hanging out. heh)
