    I know you understand the excitement of seeing a plant's bloom for the first time. This is one of the adult plants I got at half price with no flower. I had researched the name after I got it, but now I am seeing it on the plant, not in pictures! All of the plants I've gotten like this, on sale, needed a lot of TLC, they were quite neglected... but as I always say, orchids are very grateful! I am rewarded for my time and effort with beauties like this one and with a sense of general well being and relaxation. You all know what I am talking about. These plants are my therapy.

    A beautiful cattelya and a very nice gift. I'm afraid that it's not the 'Mishima' variety of Mahina Yahiro. Your friend or the vendor might have got the tags mixed up. Whatever, it is still a very beautiful orchid and I can understand how excited you must be, this being the first blooms.
