    Default Rhynchostylis gigantea

my first one of these... i'm really pleased but i think a few of buds might not fully develop, but for my first go, its not so shabby!
any suggestions about a specific ID? i think there are a few too many 'spotted' ones to really clearly name it... oh well, im not much of a name queen anyway...

Great looking blooms, Shane! Hope all the buds turn out alright on this orchid. I really like the creamy color of the bloom.

    cheers,

Lovely one, Shane. You can safely call it 'Red Spots' - at least that's what they call them over here and in Thailand, for those that look very similar to yours.

Come to think of it 'Red Splotches' would be more appropriate than Red Spots.

Lovely flowers, Shane! The bloches are so deep & clear in color. Really impressive for the 1st bloom : ) Wish you more spikes to come next year!
