    Default Bulbophyllum Jersey culture

I have a nice size Jersey that I expected to put out blooms with newly matured growths...instead, I am getting new leads. Not that I am particularly bothered, but this is a previously flowered plant....any insight from other growers? I keep it well watered, intermediate, and fertilized. Better position under lights than my Oncidium Sharry Baby, which is spiking.

I have a bulbo that has been doing that a year now...lots of new leads, no blooms. And it is in good light, and is definitely blooming size. I hope you get some responses that will enlighten us both!!!

You might try adding in a different fertilizer for abit. Maybe they need a micronutrient...or a change of moon phase....then again they might just be spiteful. lol J/K

I also have one here in the UK which i giving new leads and no flowers. I t has flowered before. Grown intermediate to warm and is otherwise looking healthy. I have tried changing the fertiliser but to no avail. Would welcome some more opinions from the experts amongst you.

I recommend increasing the sunlight it receives. Nine times out of ten when an orchid is mature enough to bloom and isn't it is due to lack of sufficient light. Keep an eye on it so that it doesn't burn, but do give it more light. It sounds like a happy plant - sometimes only plants that get a bit stressed will bloom. Upset it a little.

    cheers,
