    Unfortunately, I accidently broke half a spike today but I still have four undamaged. I should be more careful with the plant.

    Hi Natalie,
    Here are pictures of mine in bloom. This rat-tail onc. likes full sun and dry between waterings. Pretty easy to grow. Yours looks very healthy and strong. you should expect nice flowers from it!

    sure, the rat-tail Oncidiums have the conditions you've just described. I have three or four of them and love them, too. However, my plant does not belong to Oncidiinae but Dendrobinae . It is Rats Tail Orchid, too.
