Here a Paph in bloom after several years since it was given to me, but
unfortunately it came without an ID. Any clues? Enjoy!

Looks like a P. exul.
I second Roy, very beautiful exul indeed.
That's a very good Paph exul, Michael. Hey it is endemic to your area and I saw pictures recently of an orchid show in Krabi (on the mainland opposite Phuket Island - for those not familiar with the region). where they had tons of P exul with some truly fantastic forms and colour for competition. It seems the folks in Krabi even have their own Thai names for the different varieties, much like the Japanese with Neofinetia falcata.
I recently posted pictures of P exul but I think yours has a fuller and rounder form. Incidently my exul also came from Phuket.
BTW welcome back Michael. Nice to see your posts again.
Yep, agree with everyone here, it's a P. exul.
A very good one indeed!

Lovely slipper orchid bloom. Glad you got the name as it is a keeper!!
cheers,

Absolutely gorgeous!! Nice growing
I don't happen to grow them, but that is certainly a very pretty lady slipper orchid, Michael.
Wow, that is a really lovely one...congrats!
The large ventral sepal gives the clue , only exul has that, I think, in combination with the rest of the flower. But the rest is very good indeed , makes me speculate on a possible insigne/exul hybrid .
