Is it glass? If it remember that glass is great conductor of heat. Even in New York you will get sunshine. Glass + sun can kill if you aren't aware. I'm excited for you

Ok, so I live in New York and I've been growing under lights and windowsill. I decided to go for it and bought a 6' x 8' greenhouse for the summer season. I'm new to greenhouse culture and I'm a little clueless. What should I get, do I need, do you recommend that I do?? It'll be here in about a week. Thanks!!

Glass?? Oh No! I wish I had the funds for something like that. I really wanted the Victorian insulated 12' x 20' with double doors, misting system, heater, and automatic vents, but I would have had to sell a kidney...lol!! It's just a simple 4mm twin wall polycarbonate 6' x 8'. I've ben looking into things and it looks like I should get the auto top vent, a fan and some shade cloth. I plan on doing a 4" crushed stone floor for humidity. How does that sound?
Sounds good Kevin, good ventilation is the key.
It is all about ventilation. Heat is a killer. It all sounds great Kevin. Post pictures beginning with construction. We all like to be involved
...and the crush stone is great to add.
I cannot give you much advise on the greenhouse construction, I would like to see the progress. Because........
I AM NOSY!!! Lol
