    Default Ascorachnis Shah Alam City

For those with space constraints and find vandaceous Mokaras and Aranda too big for their space I would recommend Ascns Shah Alam City, a relatively small plant with with Aranda/Mokara-like blooms.I bought it in blooms 3 years ago when the plant was about 10 inches high. Now it is about 13 inches tall and this is its 6th reblooming. The flowers are about 1 1/2 inch across.

Btw I have posted pictures of this plant before with 2 spikes.

4 times a year and I don't detect any fragrance. This time the flowers are sightly bigger than when it had 2 spikes.

I mentioned in my previous post that Acns Shah Alam City = Asctm Mona Church (miniatum x ampullaceum) x Arachnis hookeriana -

What a lovely plant with delightful perky flowers! Hmm... these vandaceous intergenerics are very new to me. If only I had more space- I bet you've heard that cry 1000 times, haha! The modest dimensions make this kind of vanda-type attractive. (O my god, I am so greedy!)
