So long the spike and many flowers very beautiful, can grow very well here but refused to bloom.
I'm wondering why.
Exactly, in fact, here in Australia, many growers have this plant growing & flowering without any heat. As long as its protected from extreme cold like frosts & heavy chills, it grows & flowers ok. I've grown this plant over many years without heat ok. btw, I don't have a plant atm tho.
WOW! Now that is a ton of blooms. Great Dendrobium densiflorum!
cheers,
BD
Beautiful flower cluster.
I am loving this magnificent spike! My only question is, how do the worms get up there? Only having a little fun...................I know what you mean't. AL
One of the loveliest of dendrobiums and I agree with Zainal about the blooming. It needs a cool dry winter to initiate blooming.
Yew, dry winter should not be a problem for you. Low temperature, that could be a problem for you. I agree.
