    Default Vanda lamellata v boxallii

A good old faithful in my collection ; always flowers, sometimes twice a year, occasionally with two spikes , and very long lasting flowers. Not quite all out yet, but I expect it will still be good enough to put in a group in July. I wish I could grow it better ( bigger) , but the leaf length is the same every year. Maybe I'll try a different potting mix....Regrettably this kind of vanda ( species) is as rare as hen's teeth in UK so the opportunity to try a different clone does not seem to occur. Maybe I should try one of the German shows and check out what their dealers have.

Very pretty. They're very hard to come across here as well.
