    both have attractive coloring,
    but i especially enjoy the Virgo x callosum.
    It's almost sporting some floof with the floppy dorsal and wide petals.
    i also like the pointy pouch,
    overall i think it's a nice and interesting looking cross.

    Oh I hate them, absolutely....

    (now where is my pen and wish list, oh yes and how do i spell transvaal, aah yes, there we go.. half an hour till take off time and I'll be off to the Orchid Show where, yes, just maybe there will be one of these... yes... hmm, yes, bwaha, bwahaha, bwahahahaa....)

    I think you should send some of them to us , after all you would not want eye strain looking at the beautiful blooms he he They are beautiful . Gin

    just out of curiosity, gilda, how dark is the leaf base on that virgo x callosum?

    Jason,
    There is about 1/4 " of rosy color right at the base where it meets the medium. Not dark at all. Why were you asking ????

    some of the vini x brachy crosses, the ones where the vini really comes through, are quite striking. imagine a solid red/burgundy flower. the correlation between leaf base and flower color in the different types of paphs is something that always interests me...
