Default Bulbo spike or new p-bulb?

I noticed this while inspecting my plants yesterday. Thoughts on what it might be? I've never had a bulbo before.
    Thanks in advance!

I am hoping by the speckled coloring that it's a spike, which would be super cool and the first one for me! I'll keep an eye on it, thanks for the reference shots!

I thought it was new growth from the first couple shots. The final shot confuses me though. I look forward to seeing what it turns out to be.

    cheers,

Oh, the second two photos are from Zain, not me Here's a shot from today, it's looking pretty plump, so I'm guessing new bulb.

I shall keep my fingers crossed for you that it is a bud. I have a Bulbo that I got a few months ago. It hasn't bloomed yet so I now how you must be feeling.
