    thank you for your comments and views, I forgot this plant was sent to me by mistake from an online order, I had ordered this crossed with a vanda, they let me keep this one and sent the other plant free, the cross has yet to bloom for me

    That's a beauty, Ed. My favorite orchid is the Ascocenda. All of them are so lovely and remind me of a tropical paradise. The compact blooming habit make the flowers look like they've been arranged in a round bouquet. I think the very first orchid I uploaded here was an ascocenda.
