What a pretty flower! I so love the ones this size...they are so forgiving of mistakes.

Beautiful. I find these mini phals much easier to grow than their larger cousins.

Thumbs up Ooh, lovely!! Same as mine, maybe?

I just bought a phal from my local grocery that was labeled as "Super Mini." No ID, of course. Pbbbttt... but I was wondering if it could be the same one you have! Here's a pic of my little darlin'. What do you think? Is it a BeTris? (I've posted two pics here...one showing a closeup of the bloom and another showing how small it is in relation to a neighboring, regular-sized orchid. Anyone have a guess as to how big this little one will get?

It looks alike, so I guess that one of parents (seed or pollen) could be Phal BeTris. I'm no expert though It's so tiny and awful cute

It actually could also be a Phal equestris hybrid

Ooh! Yeah, Aneta, I do see some equestris in it, now that you mention it. The bottom two sepals on yours are larger than mine in relation to the petals, and I think the lip on mine seems to jut downward more, whereas yours goes forward. By the way..I want to apologize for hijacking your thread here...I realized a couple of days after I posted my pics that I had committed an internet faux pas. Thanks for being so sweet about it, and for offering your suggestions on my little guy's parentage as well.

It's so teeny I ended up putting it in one of my bathrooms. It was just going completely unnoticed with all the other full-sized phals around. I figured the toilet makes a great humidity tray!
