I HAD about 45 but managed to kill a few off, and allowed one or two to get too much sun. So I'm down to about 37 - but that doesn't seem like enough so I think I'm going to go shopping soon

I have a small space, but the last time I actually attempted an accurate count it was over 200.

Having just seen this post and knew my count before as did check few weeks ago i can say i have a total of 320 orchids now and still growing. mainly Vandas, Dendrobiums, Cattleyas, with a lot of other types too but less of. Least keeps me busy as enjoy growing them and seeing the new flowers and growth appear.

I have 6 orchids currently (3 Phals, 1 Paph, 1 Dendrobium Nobile, and 1 Cymbidium) and am awaiting my first compact Cattleya which will be my 7th orchid. I know I want my next to be either a oncidium or another Paph.

I currently have 201 with one on the way from Thailand. Thanks to all here for help. They are currently inside under lights, on a window sill, or in a greenhouse. Now with the weather changing I have to put a lot of thought into which one I will put outside in my screened in area. Purchased more shelves to put more plants out since last year. This means a study of lighting for them which is a challenge. However, in terms of numbers when I no longer have one or more coming in I can't help but get that Itch to buy more. Call me crazy. Ok I agree. I love this board and look anxiously for likes. So, please keep them coming.

During the chaos of the past 2 years, I lost a fair number, but seem to be rebuilding. 280, give or take a few.
Now that life is settling down a bit...and now that I have a greenhouse so conditions can be kept closer to ideal, hopefully I can keep them all happy.

And I thought I was bad for having around a dozen…! I feel so much better about myself!
