    Default Pot. Hoku Gem 'Sunspots

    An oldie but goodie in my eyes .It opens up looking like this & as it ages turns a lovely yellow.It's like getting two plants in one!I got this many years ago (1994) in bloom in a Maui drugstore for about $7.00.I thought I would just enjoy it on the lanai when I was there & if it never bloomed for me again it was worth it but has bloomed every year since then.

    Funny Jane, the last few times I've looked at your posts I thought I saw spots before my eyes.... Kidding aside, I like that little guy. Reminds me a lot of my Yellow Bird, but your plant has larger spots.

    Jane, your plants are so lovely and so healthy. I like the way you take the pics in their growing area with all the other plants as a background. I wish I could do that.
