I have a friend who asked me sometime ago for some orchid flowers. As her home is so dark inside most of the actual orchid plants would have a tough time of it, so I asked the Florida vendor to send me some Vanda cut flowers to enjoy and it was almost as cheap to ship with the following Vanda plant as not........................I am just so thrifty you know! I personally could not cut Vanda spikes or any other orchid from my collection. It just wouldn't make any sense to shorten the blooms life span by that much. Hope you enjoy! AL
