I deflasked this in early December 2009, and grew all the seedlings in a tray in my DPC (dew point cabinet) for a year. Then singled a few, and put others into compots. I put a few straight into S/H using 12-14mm dia baked clay pebbles ( aka Hydroton, etc ) and this is one of them ; the first to flower from the flask by a week or two. Another is now flowering grown in more conventional manner ( using CHC/charcoal/sponge rock) .
This ( together with some others also doing well) is enough to satisfy me that S/H is viable for paphs, so I will shifty more into the system.Quit a small flower in this species, but like many paphs, a plant of real character.

Looks like it liked the semi-hydro, Geoff! We grow ours in a bark mix here. I've not tried many orchids in semi-hydro yet.
cheers,
