    Thanks Cathy, I have 2 nice plants but getting the right light & heat on the over winter has been my problem. Heating is now fixed, light I'm working on. Might get some mid to late summer blooms the way they are progressing.

    I agree on both heat and light. I'm having problems with both in Florida.

    It is true that they're very common in Florida but that may be for good reason. I still think it's one of the nicest ascocendas available. I love the color and most of them have flower spikes that grow straight up. It makes for a very nice display. Good growing, as usual.

    Cathy; This Ascocenda has the added attraction of blooming at least two or three times a year. That is not always common..........................AL
