    Default Bulbo sanguineopunctatum culture needed

I just purchased my first Bulbophyllum species (sanguineopunctatum). I was lured in by the pretty blooms and snatched it up without having any experience with this Genus and not knowing what to expect.

Can any more experienced growers help me with some culture on these orchids?

I grow my orchids in a South-East window, mostly in S/H but I do have a couple in bark mix.

Below are some pictures of the actual plant (and expected bloom) from the vendor. Thanks!

I grow a several different bulbos, but not this particular one. Hopefully another member will be able to offer some help for this one. In general my bulbos like bright light and fast draining media. They do not want to dry all the way out and appreciate lots of air movement.

    cheers,
    BD

I agree with BD. I keep mine on the side near the vandas so they get a little more water, good air movement and one other thing I find that helps alot; spray for fungal infections on a regular basis and the plant will be able to handle being wet without rotting.

    Thanks both!

I put him in S/H as most of my collection is already in this medium, hopefully he likes the moisture. I have him in about the same light as my Odon, or will he need brighter light such as Cattela/Vanda? I probably should have researched him more before I bought but there is little info on the internet for this partciular Bulbo.
