    Default Alcra. Hilo Ablaze'Hilo Gold' HCC/AOS and Billbergia Nutans Bromeliad - Queens Tears

    Alcra. Hilo Ablaze 'Hilo Gold HCC/AOS is my newest orchid and is now in full bloom.

    Billbergia Nutans Bromeliad - Queens Tears Plant is a Bromeliad i have had for a few years, and is starting to bloom. It has 2 more spikes coming. I enjoy this plant and wanted to share.

    There both beautiful and rather unique in form which to me makes them special. The Alcra. Hilo Ablaze Hilo Gold can be a fairly generous bloomer. May I ask how often you water it each week this time of year? AL

    I got the Aliceara from my orchid society for Christmas and it was in bud. So i have only had it about 3 weeks and have watered it maybe 2 x. i hope i have success with this, i do pretty well with the oncidiums.

    Love the blue edging on the petals of the brom flower. Not very common that.
