It is a lovely species and the alba form of it is very nice. I too love the green white combo!

To be correct with nomenclature your tag should be written Encyclia tampensis var. alba.
Genus is always capitalized. Species name is always lower case. This is followed by the varietal epithet. Only a cultivar epithet get quotes and it would get single quote marks.

I love this Encyclia Tampensis. I have one that I really loved, but scale attacked it and I didn't save it in time. Now it is pretty much decimated. Keep plenty of air moving on this one!

    cheers,

Beautiful! Wow, how'd you get this to bloom in February? They are summer bloomers (May-June) down here in situ.
