When my Mom passed in Dec I brought several of her orchids home. This was one of her favorites, and mine, too. But I can't identify it. Can anyone help? Thanks,

It's definitely a nobile type Dendrobium! I've always had a difficult time with them, because of the cooling off-no water thing...but hopefully you can keep it alive! What a beautiful thing to remember your mother by.
I personally don't think it is a nobile type
There are many species of Dends without spikes. Formosum types have a very short, axillary or terminal raceme with 1 to 4 fragrant flowers that arise from the nodes near the apex of the leafed, mature cane.
