Thanks Maura. It seems to reflect the bright saffron of the tropical Philippine sunset.

Lovely, Angel - what vibrant color!
Thanks Maura. It seems to reflect the bright saffron of the tropical Philippine sunset.
Ephemeral, fragile-looking, intensely fragrant
Angel that was great all are beautiful thanks for sharing your collection...
Ok, I know this sounds funny but they aren't really ground cover material. We just laid the wood horizontally so it covers more ground which has been bare since the roses which used to be there have died.
I hope these dends adjust to the shade. Oh well, I know they will live but will they bloom after this? Especially those two bigger ones which are attached on opposite ends of the lower part of the wood. We removed them from high up on an oleander tree so they are used to a lot of sunlight. The smaller plants are new acquisitions though I didn't get to choose them personally. My friend went to the mall and picked up some dends for her garden. I just asked her to buy some for me too.
I love the color and blooming habit of this one. Flowers are tightly arranged on the spike. This time it pushed its spike through the leaves of a very big neighboring Mokara whose leaves can be seen in the background. I posted a photo taken during the day during a previous blooming.
Both are fragrant but the white and violet one has a stronger fragrance.
Love the Dendrobium, especially the first one.
Those are loveley - such a nice assortment.
