    Default Anybody know what these are on my Phal Orchid

    Hi! I was checking on my new Phal this morning and noticed these two little guys! Not sure what they are and just wondering if anybody else did!

    Are they?! They're growing almost near the middle of the stem...nowhere near my other buds!!

    Looks like your Phal is one of those that the spike branches. Those nubs are the begining of the branches. On the other hand, if the flowers and buds at the top of the spike are all now spent, It could be that the spike is preparing to flower again.

    I've got quite a few unopened blooms at the top! I guess I'll just have to wait it out and see what happens!
