Default Desperately need help about my Paph hsinying Web Giant x Paph Pulsar hsinying Flame.

Since i got it seems to be getting like yellow little patches on the leaves..am i doing something wrong here? I cannot use rain water as i dont have any,so i use tap water but i do let it stand for some hours before i water my paphs..Is the the reason why my paph is not happy?if so what other kind of water can i use? or is it because i usually feed mine at every watering, but i do use only a 3rd of the recomended dose as they say use 1 teaspoon.

Can any one help me as i dont want to lose this one here are some photos of the leaf so you know what im talking about

I'm not a paph/phrag specialist, but to me that looks bacterial. If you have a systemic for bacteria and fungal infections I recommend you put this little guy in isolation and spray the dickens out of him! Then spray everything that he's touched or been near or dripped on. I spray for fungal and bacterial infections weekly down here in humid Florida. Summertime is rife with bugs and icky stuff.

Hello Connie...thank you so much for the info....Since i posted this i took it out of its pot to check the roots...Seems this was a division from a older plant,so had parts of that plant with the new growth i have...seems that had turned to rot so i cleaned it and cut of all the dead roots that was mushy and i noticed 4 new roots shooting on the new little paph so now have repotted it in new mix and see what happens...the new little paph roots are healthy and sprouting nicely..I think it was the older part of the mother plant that has gone mushy and dead that has caursed these marckings on the leaves.

After watering your orchid, you should take care that the water is not getting trapped in between leaves. You should quickly use a piece of tissue or cotton. After watering, you should take care that the base of the orchid pot should not come in contact of the standing water. Over-watering often results in yellow and damaged leaves. If your orchid’s leaves turn yellow and show signs of rot; hold off watering for a week.
