Default What's wrong with my orchid petals :(

    Hi all
I'm new to this forum and found my way here because I just bought a white phalaenopsis orchid . I repotted it as the first pot had no drains and added some orchid mix from the local garden store. I just noticed today that a few of the petals are wilting or thinning away (maybe being eaten but I don't know what by?). What should I do? Thanks

    Few possibility:
    1. Frictions during transport relatively quite common not to worry.
2.Could be due to fungal/bacterial infection just need to observe if they progress or another healthy petals being infected do not delay to spray fungicide and keep it dry or cut the infected petal.

Its mechanical damage. As stated earlier it may be due to transport, rubbing on the cane, bringing it home etc.

That's a lovely phal! Pity about the damage, but it should be beautiful from here on out.
