Hello Maggs here, I thought I would share with you all some very yummy fruit my back yard sorry that I cannot put then on the site for you to have a bite, maybe who knows with technology one day we may just be able to, these are mangoes that I have from my very large tree we call them Julie but (I do not know what they are called elsewhere, very sweet and fleshy too. but I freeze the flesh when it is so many to eat and use it to make a fruit drink with papaya, apple, and west indian cherry juice or orange juice, very healthy it is just like a smoothy really enjoyable.,,

I have tried to grow a mango tree from a seed in a pot in temperate North America but haven't gotten one to grow well. They don't survive moving inside for the winter. Maybe someday I will have a greenhouse.

Very nice! I used to have an orange tree in the back yard before we moved. It looks like you climbed for those...nice big tree!

The only thing I don't like about mangos is trying to get the flesh off the pit/seed. Hate to waste any fruit.

Nice, juicy-looking mangoes. Those of us who live in the tropics are so fortunate that we can grow them easily.

well that mango tree is about forty or so years old, my uncle had three of them planted and so it seems that the older they get the more they produce and very large ones high up in the top branches, I did not climb the tree used a rod to reach what was a little lower and caught them, Pavel if you have ever had a Julie mango you would not mind just peeling it and eating it just like that without cutting off any flesh that is how most of us do it and also sometimes we use the really half ripe ones to make a chow with pepper and some garlic and salt it tastes delicious because at that stage it still is a bit tart and that is when the flavor really comes out helped by the seasoning, try it one day you may surprise yourself.

When I saw this mango tree,it remind me when I was young .i climb to the top with cup of chilly paste and enjoy fresh mango over there ,climb down after finish the cup.such a nice memory
The famous Thai sweet is mango with sticky rice but you need special mango for that kind of thing,by the way thank you for teasing us.

There are some advantages in being in a Tropical climate. This is a good example of one of them. Wish I could do that here! AL
