    Cattleya Chocolate Drop 'Volcano Queen' completely overgrowing a 6" pot. I keep wanting to divide and repot it, but it won't stop blooming so I can do it! haha

    Don't wait until it will tell you. It may be too late.
    Wait until the lead pseudobulbs start to grow new roods and do it.

    Oh my.... my parents had a Chocolate Drop many years ago, I'd forgotten it! Now THAT one (and yours is gorgeous) is on my wish list. I don't think theirs had a variety name though. What a nice dilemma to have though.

    I will be dividing it after this current set of blooms fades.. So far, I think there will be break... I see no more coming right now...
