    Default Dendrochilum magnum spiking

    These are the first Denrochilums I've ever had or seen in real, so I'm not very sure about their blooming habits, but I'd say what's growing in the centre of the new growth, between the new leaves is a spike. I'm so excited about it.

    There is one spike on the left picture and two on the right one, though it's difficult to see.
    I'll surely post pictures when (and if) they bloom.

    Congratulations! Though Dendrochilums are native to our country, I'm ashamed to say I don't even own ONE. i think it's time to change that.

    Yes, please do post pictures updating us on when your plant spikes bloom. I acquired this plant several months ago. It has six new growths much like yours. I didn't know where the flower spike came from. Your photo explains that for me. I've seen and replied to many of your posts today, and have learned much from you. Thank you.
