Well, since this section is a bit slow at this moment, I post some pictures of my paphs here. Since my paph collection is not as extensive as my other groups of orchids, they won't dazzle you guys, maybe in a few years ... Just enjoy!

Beautiful alba paph, and the leaves are just as beautiful. These should be grown just for their mottled leaves alone!

A recent acquisition, first bloom seedling! The bloom is actually bigger than the plant! I was also surpised to see the bloom is so dark. Maybe this is not true praestans? Or maybe since the bloom just opens for one week so it would take time for the yellow color to develop?

I am so deprived of slippers at the moment... this is such a joy to have!

I love them all, and very interesting about your praestans... I know the family is in some confusion with some being called praestans, wilhelminae, gardineri and glanduliferum... don't ask me what's what though...

I had a looksie around the net and found the website of the Papua new Guinea Orchid News.. which I hope is ok.. didn't see any sales area so.. here goes.. it tries to explain the differences between the various species / varieties...
