    Post Red Catteleya nice red flowers

    Love the silky deep colour of the flowers. Will probably split the plant in 3 after bloom...

    maybe lc luminosa, i just googled and it looks similar. it says primary hybrid between Laelia tenebrosa and Cattleya dowiana.

    This is a beautiful Cattlianthe Jewel box or a related hybrid, this is not Cattleya luminosa.

    How big are the flowers? Of all the suggestions I think Ctt. Jewel Box is the closest, but flower size might help narrow it down. Luminosa shouldn't be red. Hazel Boyd would be expected to have a fuller shape. Unless you have at least a partial tag to go from, or information from a grower, you'll really never know.
