Thank you Wade! I am happy with this blooming, too. There are only six flowers on the spike but shape, size and appearance are nice. Looking forward to seeing next bloom.

I love tenebrosum. It would be my first pick for a species Catasetum. Thanks again for sharing, Natalie. Great photos and fantastic growing!!!

i bought that same sangria x pileatum and the donna wise x pileatum ---- Vendor information removed - see FAQs on Posting ----you should grow in less light to get male flowers thay are out of this world
A lovely collection !
Two of four divisions bloomed about six weeks ago.
I was not very happy with the flowers when they just opened because I expected a darker coloration but later I changed my mine and simply fell in love with them. They are showy and have very nice texture. The scent is very similar to Stanhopea wardii but not so strong. I mean, it is strong but not stanho-crazy strong.
Both plants
Bloomer #1
Bloomer #2
Flowers are long lasting what is nice.
very nice
Excellent Nat. Great Job!!. Thanks for sharing.
