Thank you so much all of you. This site has been so helpful to me in many ways.
Hi Wade,
how is everything going?
your "green house warming gift" is waiting for you. When is the deadline for plants shipping? I know you have four seasons in PA
Oh thank you!!! I have at least a month before shipping is any problem... probably more. We are at a standstill until the control unit gets here. It is back ordered and is central to the wiring. At present I have a greenhouse with no ventilation and no heat. I have 2 "mini greenhouses" that I am keeping things in and a small heater in each one for our 45F nights. I am overdue with posting some new pictures which I'll try to catch up on tomorrow.
Hi Wade, how is everything going one month later? I guess you did not have time to post more pictures. So did I. I have so many pictures to share but I don't know when I can find time... Life was so hectic last month or two. Anyway, keep me posted. You can PM me when you are ready for new "babies"
Thanks for sharing! and please post more pictures as you progress. I have a Den World Cup Keiki if you would like it.....
The control panel is still back ordered. They said that early November is the expected date. In Pennsylvania we are facing regular frosts by that time and knew that some drastic measures had to be taken. We purchased a heating thermostat and a cooling thermostat so we could operate one of the heaters and one exhaust fan. This week started with a 1 1/2 trip to an orchid friend who is moving and will not have a greenhouse. I purchased most of his collection for a very modest sum and offered him plants or divisions whenever he is able to find a way to grow orchids again. We finished all the wiring and running gas lines and one of my rolling benches was set up in a temporary location to hold all of the plants I brought back on Monday. Since we ran the gas lines ourselves we want an expert to examine things before we turn the gas on and operate the heater. That will happen tomorrow (Saturday). At that point I will be able to handle things till the control panel gets here. Then we will need to run wiring for that to all the fans, heaters, and cooling system. What a job!!!! With all the delays the greenhouse usable but 3 months behind schedule. Natalie and sddivey, I will send you personal messages with my email and address. I will be more than willing to share anything that I will be dividing. Thank you so much for your offers!!!

North and West sides of greenhouse. The North wall is insulated and clad with steel roofing on both sides.
Here is the interior of the greenhouse and the plants I purchased from my friend.
Great progress!
It will be filled before you know it (once the controller is in).
