    Default Aerides leeana, aka Aerides jarckiana

    Endemic to the Philippines. Quite rare.
    I think a very famous reference is actually showing the light pink-purplish form of Aerides odorata in its photo for this species.

    I am very happy with this plant. As you can see, it has 9 spikes. Very light fragrance. Unfortunately, flowers at the base start drying up long before the ones at the apex of the spike open.

    Obviously a very happy plant. And very nice photos. The individual blossoms are only a centimeter or so long?

    And, you are correct. The individual blooms are only about a cm. across.

    wow, how small is the plant as a whole? What are the conditions for its well being.
