If we.re talking about the same Cathy, she helped me also with some great advice. I've used brown sugar once to help hydrate some plants, not thinking about the ants, what a mistake, I've heard of molasses also being used, again kudos on the plants.

Wow!! You have such a huge collection!! They are definitely not an eyesore to an orchid lover. Hope they reward you with so many blooms.

I already move all my plants in the shade house before vacation last month,luckily I did that because all my house plants and flowers around the house became brown from forgot watering.
No way an eyesore... looks fantastic! I especially love the "vandas - root heaven" photo. I don't know, maybe I'm a little weird but I get as big a buzz from watching orchid root systems develop as I do from seeing a flower spike
