    Default Vanda Blue Magic

    Well @ last i,ve managed to flower my 1 & only Ascocenda.
    The year in s/h did not do it any favors.
    9 blooms about 4 1/2" wide.

    whaaouuuuuuuuu ! What a nice flower !
    I do not have vanda yet but, i will try to grow one, like your's, maybe in rock wool cubes (big size!)

    That is a very very nice orchid. Where did you get it? Are they hard to find? Are they expensive??

    They are very easy to get hold of in the UK & are priced a little higher than a good phal hybrid.The blue Vandas(Ascocenda's) are very popular due to the fact they seem to be able to take cooler temps than some of the other Vanda hybrids due to the influence of V. coerulea.
    Mine bloomed with the day temps in the low 70,s & night time temps of high 50,s , it does have very strong light has it hangs about 2 feet from my HPS system.
