Hello guys! I bought a maxillaria tenuifolia recently. I don't have much knowledge about this specific orchid, I did some research right after buying it. Found out that the plant likes lots of water and light, and can stand more heat than the usual orchids. So I started to repot it from its super tight and packed moss and I got pretty confused when I saw these roots.. I did see online tht the roots look different and dead at first, do these look normal to you guys? I figure somebody might be more familiar with this kind of orchid. I was unsure on what media to use so I repotted it in a basket with sphagnum moss since I read that it needed to be more wet than the usual orchids, but I didn't put it super tight. I could include a picture later on of I repotted.
Thanks!
