I am no expert on this. I have seen pods maturing about 3-4 months. Slight browning and ripening of the seed pod would be the indicator that it is ready to be dispersed.

I selfed a Vanda (Neostylis) Lou Sneary 'Blue Bird' in October. A capsule has developed and seems to be growing well.
I mainly did it to practice my sterile lab techniques. Just wondering about the approximate time for maturation. I do want to sow it green.

Thanks. The other info I'm getting is in line with this...somewhere between 3-6 months. Big window. I'm going to get it done this week.
