Default Help to ID this plant please

Hi, I'm back again . I have this plant since December and it was suggested to me then that this one is Ceratostylis. When I saw the flowers this morning, I found out that they very different from what I saw on the web. They are also very tiny, just a quarter on an inch from wingtip to wingtip. Any suggestion? TIA

Here's a not so good pic of the flower.

The lip is bright yellow as shown in the pic and look like a Paph pouch viewed from front. I tried to see if its really a pouch but can't see .

Catfan, I don't think this is a Maxillaria. This plant has long rhyzomes and pendulous in growth habit. Plantwise, its looks similar to Ceratostylis, just that the flowers are completely different.

    Hi there,

    Welcome back!
Have you considered your plant might be an Eria? (Although a glimpse of the plant from your picture does suggest it might be a Ceratostylis.) A picture of the whole plant so we can observe the rhizome and its growth habit might do the trick.
    Cheers. Hoa.

    ooooh she's a beauty!!!

I remember the thread about this plant earlier! And all we had to go on was the plant... and now we have flowers and it is still as difficult to figure out!

I wish we can figure out what it is because this is now in my wish list... the paph pouch had nothing to do with that decision either... ok maybe a little...

    Hi Hoa,
Here is the pic of the whole plant, and the side view of the bud. The white stuff is fungicide because this plant is losing leaves fast and as far as I can tell it hasn't started growing roots yet, so its still in the bag.

I have seen a well grown Ceratostylis being sold at the flower show. The plant look similar to mine but the flowers are huge compare to this teeny weeny one. They are also star shape. I also have a suspicion that this one closes at night. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.

Tim, the yellow pouch is cute, isn't it?

Well, I found another website listing a few similar ceratostylis species and they do resemble your plants (vegetative growths and flower arangement (the pouch lip) and of course the other flowers have different color and other features)). I also found that french website that you mentioned. It does look like yours! Well, congrats!
    Cheers. Hoa.
