    Default So proud of myself!

I haven't posted in a while but I have some good news.

I have had a phal in my possession for about 7 months now and I haven't killed it!!!!! I've always killed phals. but this one really likes me. I found it in so so condition, overwatered, no flowers. Now it has grown a new leaf and has a spike on it. I cannot wait to see what color it is. I don't even care really, I'm overjoyed with the fact that it's alive.

Thanks Tim. I did treat myself, to another phal! lol. This one was in bloom, and it is a beauty. I wish my digicam worked.

Those are the best rewards - more orhcids!

Congrats, Traci! We all have weak genera (the weakness being ours, not the genus'.) It's a real thrill to slowly succeed against them.

Means there might be hope for the rest of us after all!

It only took 3 years and about 6 phals before I kept one alive.

I won't. I've been so busy, I got sidelined. I have orchids on the mind since many of mine are in bud now.
