Seemingly healthy Phal. but no new growth!

Hello everyone! I would love some advice on one of my phals. I've tried the typical tricks of re-potting and changing location / temp to stimulate growth. However, I am just not seeing the new growth that I would expect. All of my other phals are showing development, even those whom I've paid much less attention. This one is truly mystifying me!
I'm not sure if this matters or not but his leaves are a bit lighter than my other phals, so he was definitely getting a good amount of light. I cannot imagine it was too much because he was among other plants that are doing fine. Also, to me, he looks very healthy, I'm far from an expert though! I would greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions.




Please note that the dark specs are pieces of medium that I removed before re-potting. All of the roots were healthy, not one rotten.

It looks perfectly healthy to me.
I would just pot it up and take care like all your other phals and have patience it will grow.
Don't move them around too much they need to adjust to a place before they grow leaves or roots.

I have a phal that 'pouted' for 6 months before it decided to grow even a root. Now a year later (since I first received it) it is in spike. So patience is the key.

I agree with arwan, pot her up, find a spot and let her grow!

Thank you for the responses! I'm not the most patient person... lol! I've since re-potted and moved to his new window. I will leave him be to do his thing. I was thinking of feeding him some coconut water as a treat. Has anyone tried that?

benign neglect is probably the way to go, don't want to kill it by being overly pampering.

lol dangerouseddy! It's hard not to want to give them constant love and attention. I just keep growing my collection so I always have one that I can pamper....lol

I did that too when I was new and growing my collection. 200 orchids later, I have finally stopped buying.

Wow, that is a lot of orchids! Do you grow indoors? As much as I'd love to have hundreds, I would need a much larger home to accommodate that many! I have about 20 right now and I've asked the hubby to put up shelves in good light areas so that I can continue to grow my collection. I will probably have to stop around 50 unless I get really creative lol!

I have lights setup in 5 locations and then I have converted 3 fish tanks (10, 20 and 50 gallons) to orchidariums. I also have 21 hooks in my ceiling which I hang orchids from. They love being hung!

Creative yes, I have one mounted dendrobium that hangs off the lampshade in my living room. Actually seems to like it. It is getting ready to bloom for the 2nd time since it moved there. It will go outside later in the month when we are certain to be no cooler than 55 F at night.

Others will go outside too. About 20 total I think this year.,

It's so funny that you mentioned hanging them from the ceiling because I was literally just thinking about doing that with a few. *orchid minds* lol
