Default black 'pimples' on my Potinara Taichung Beauty leaves

Hi everyone, I've just added a Potinara 'Taichung Beauty' in my orchid collection. She's generally a healthy plant except for these dark lesions on the leaves. As I'm afraid it will spread to the healthy leaves, I made a decision to divide and repot the cattleya, to isolate the condition.
Are these dark spots cause for concern?

I hope to hear advice from experienced growers pls.

Looks like old mechanical damage from insects.

The damage will not heal. So look to new growths to see if it is cured or is continuing to infect the plant. If it is insect damage, then unless the insects are still present, this should not reoccur.

Excellent suggestion from Harvey and Bark. Don't have to divide for this reason. You could watch if the infection spreads and then take corrective action
