    Default H. odorata

    Hi all,

    After a short displaced hypochondriac episode(when I thought the bud of this flower was rotting away) I finally feel confidant enough to say this is a flower success story.

    Here is the progression of stages for this little guy:
    Here is my Haraella odorata when I first got it a few months ago.

    Then as time went by there were two spikes

    It suddenly swelled and started getting color


    and today, it started opening!!!!!

    Hope to post the fully opened flower very soon.

    It's such a great shade of green and looks so lush! I wish I had the growing conditions to grow tiny mounted orchids.... I love them so much. I am seriously going to beg the other half to move me to the tropics somewhere!!! :c) haha! I can't wait to see what the flower looks like!

    Lol, you guys!
    Anyway, the 'baby' is finally here! It bloomed overnight!
    Im totally psyched!

    Here it was this morning when I got to work at 9, that is where I keep it.


    And here it is when I left work at 7,



    Im so glad i was finally able to post a pic of one of my orchids in this forum section "Orhids in Bloom"!!!!!! I feel like I'm part of the group now.
    For those of you who know, when is it supposed to smell like lemons?
