    Default What a lovely gift.

I am new to Bulbos and Cirrhopetalums; is there an ID to this?

For a time, I lived in Coconut Grove. I miss Miami.

    What a wonderful present!

Bulbophyllum echinolabium is supposed to be the biggest flowered species of the genus. And size is not the only thing it is famous for... how is the fragrance, Eve?

It certainly is quite spectacular, and one of my faves in the genus... the growth habit is not scrambling, ie the bulbs are closer together and that fragrance is a neat trick for friends to have a whiff at

Yes, a very nice present it is as long as you keep your nose at least 12 inches away from it! I didn't think about that little joke I can play - thanks Tim.
